1793 Yellow Fever Epidemic: Rush vs. Kuhn Debate
This is a debate between two doctors during the Yellow Fever epidemic in Philadelphia in 1793. They are discussing the pros and cons of various treatment methods. This is my first attempt at using blabberize.com, so please take that into consideration as you're laughing at me. This was part of a presentation of the book An American Plague: The True and Terrifying Story of the Yellow Fever Epidemic of 1793 by Jim Murphy. It is a 2004 Newbery Honor book and was part of a book club activity for my Teaching of Reading course.
