Here a Tweak, There a Tweak, Everywhere a Tweak Tweak

Thinking about reorganizing this web site already.  As we know, very little in life falls neatly into categories, and so the pages on this site won’t, either. The heart of this site will eventually be the links to other sites in history, government, etc. But how will this site be any different, much less better than any other similar site? I don’t know. Maybe it won’t be.

But I’m planning that it will be…for my students, at least. That’s why I’m setting it up now as I think the beginning framework should be, and counting on students to make suggestions later as to how it can be most useful to them once it’s really in use.

I’m not satisfied with the home page. It looks like a site that I wouldn’t want to spend much time investigating if I had just found it for the first time.

This is going to take a lot of tweaking.

Hey Brent~
I happen to like your website, colors, information, the old house photo...You complained about your home page. I like learning all the info about you, but I'm not sure about the relevance of the map. What if you had one with pin points for the places you've visited or lived? Since it is your home page, would you have some kind of picture of you, even if it is simply you in action, walking down a trail, or a close up of your hand holding a baseball, or you from your Methodist Children's Home days, with some kids?
My site needs a lot of tweaking too. Finally, I am into manipulating this site, though.
Oh, and the one other thing, I had to explore a bit to find your blog and comment. You write such insightful comments on others' blogs, and I wanted to read yours. Yours didn't have an obvious label to help a literal person like me find it. I am in the process right now of getting my proper weebly address posted with Dr. Kim...please visit mine once she gets it up. Need your insight, Mr. Stein! Let me know what to tweak...
